Saturdays game with Walsall was postponed due to frozen pitch

Referee David Webb arrived at the stadium at 9.00am to take a look at the playing surface and, with temperatures not forecast to rise above one degree all day, he decided to call the game off.

Despite the whole pitch being covered since the start of the week, the vast majority of it was frozen come Saturday morning after temperatures reached minus six in the early hours of the matchday.
